A Plea For Common Sense:

The senses are the purest and clearest of all our faculties. If we cannot rely on them then on what other
power should we rely?

If we are to rely exclusively on what is mis-labelled "reason" we will find ourself in a knot. Reason is the
organizer and interpreter of senses, the senses alone recieve input and give us our most basic ideas. That
we should require proof for everything, even the most common sense beliefs, just gets us into ciruclar
reasoning; forces us to come up with reason upon reason, each less certain that the first; an infinite
stairway where the last step/top is always one step beyond our grasp. We cannot prove our senses we
can only rely upon them.

Then what of experts? Those who have "anointed themselves reason's priests"; who insist we need a
reason -a citation -for even the obvious! Who has need of experts when he has his senses which are
enough for the basics of daily life, and are often enough for him to make basic judgments and choices!

There have been experts thoroughout all of history, in the academies and in the bureaus; are we any
better for these experts? Are you only sick when experts say? Are you only educated when experts say?
Do you have freedom only if the experts inform you of your rights? Were you made by God and Nature
or by experts?

At least in the past, one could argue the necessity of claimed experts; it was assumed that they were the
messengers of God who delivered a doctrine above the senses and wholly supernatural. For some that
was true, but even so, many of these experts were wrong about things they were trusted to know. Many
an expert theologian said that Mary was not sinless, and many a priest fell into the Arian errors and
taught that Jesus Christ was just a man! There were even ambiguities over things as basically true as
water baptism! Today, experts claim authority from science. And from there, even claim control over
your body and health! That is, control over medicine; substances whose effectiveness are evident from
results and from the sense of memory! In this case, we can safely say to them "we can forgo your
expertise we have a body and mind too!" Likewise aren't scientists always talking about how they like to
be wrong; that the best part of science is being wrong -so why are you listening to them, gathered at
their feet, mouths gaping in awe like children around their preschool teacher? Science is about being
falsified; and constantly challenging and changing one's techniques in the face of failure; not about
sealing, for once and all time, a particular praxis or doxology.

But what of the expert's superior experience and training? What of it, are not facts always changing, and
isn't training itself juged soley by results? Are experts still experts when facts prove them wrong, or are
theories about health, and prosperity to take precedence over your experience and your sensations of
health and sickness, of riches and privation?

But you say, the experts are credible, we should believe them! Why should we? You mean for that time
they vaccinated the inhabitants of old-folks homes and it caused so many deaths that it raised the 1993
death rate by 50 points? Or the time they invented the "food pyramid" diet guidelines which caused the
obesity epidemic and which contributes to chronic diseases/malnutrition? or when they told you about
the xenoestrogens and phytates in vegetables, factory meat, and plastics -after they allowed these things
to be sold on a mass-scale! Such has been the usefulness of experts that I think we would be a good deal
healthier and richer without them!

Now how much better and more effective have the experts been given this allegedly new virus? What
can our common senses make of it? So far: (1) the entire economy is shut down; even bars and strip-
clubs are open during war time(2) people's bodily autonomy given by God and Nature, is violated (3)
illness -maybe even deaths -now caused by the deprivation of natural sunlight vit-C and D stores,
already low, and now abysmal (4) people are being fired from their jobs; hardly anyone is making money
leading many unable to afford rent (5) no one appears to be dropping dead at hospitals, my own
hospital, in a crowded urban area representative of the broader USA, is normal looking with no lines
outfront and everyone else's seems this way too; why trust media reports when you have eyes! Is this
common sensical? Do your own observations, impress upon you the direness that the media-experts
claim? Or is it all just BS?

But specifically about the current "covid-virus" scare. Regardless of the alleged virus's lethality and
indeed even existence I ought to make several things clear: even if the virus was as lethal as AIDS or
contagious as Ebola we would not have to shut down literally the entire country to beat it; why? Because
we have already been afflicted by such terrible diseases and we emerged unscathed and even if the
black death rampaged through unprotected and primitve Europe, and they survived and even thrived
after, how much easier would we survive without this mass scare and the despotic response?

Already there are protests in MI and in other areas. I myself am proud to say that I use the beach and am
tentatively returning to the playground. No i don't wear a mask. We ought each of us to act likewise in
small ways to disobey the arrogant decrees of "experts" and plutocrats and to constatly push for more
and larger acts of civil disobedience in retaliation against a corrupt and tyrannical policy -that is universal
revolt against universal tyranny; a revolt of 100 million against a few 100 despots!
