Best Fishing Spots

There are many beautiful fishing spots which will give you immense pleasure. Let’s know about them
one by one.

Rubble Rocks or Rubble Tower

In the area of Ruqq Quraynayn, east out of Al Wakrah, a shallow area can be found which is known as
Halat Umm al Khayfan. Rubble Tower is a lighthouse present in the center of Halat Umm al Khayfan.
Around the lighthouse, one can be able to see beautiful shallows having small drop off areas which
makes the area an ideal spot for fishing.

Al Aaliya Island and Al Safliya Island

The two islands are situated to the east of Doha and are very good spots for fishing. By drift fishing or by
tactful luring techniques, you will be able to catch some quality fish with a bit of exploring. Your visit to
this place is not just restricted to fishing. You can find many artificial structures and developments along
the periphery of the shore that will make this place a must visit.

Doha Main Navigation Channel

This is the primary navigation channel of Doha and can be used for recreational fishing. There will also
be the presence of others vehicles such as the Qatari Navy, container ships, and private vessels.
Sometimes, the region will be crowded and it is essential to be alert and maintain a safe distance from
bigger vessels. You must also ensure that your boat doesn’t cause any hindrance or disruption to other
vessels.

Doha SSE to Doha Buoy Channel

This marked channel can be located by passing the Banana Island and going to the SE and further
moving towards Al Wakrah. In the main channel, the water depth is about 12 meters and it steadily
increases ranging from about 25 to 30 meters. Tough the water is not much deep, it still offers a good
amount of fish. A useful tip would be sticking to the edge of the channel.
