    2. Compare and contrast Indus valley civilization with its Aryan counterpart.
    3. Compare and contrast Egyptian and Mesopotamian civilizations.
    4. Describe Sumerian political and social organization.
    5. Compare and contrast the position women enjoyed in Mesopotamian and Egyptian societies.
    6. Using at least 2 specific examples, analyze how Athens laid the foundation for modern
    democracy.
