QUARANTINE

In lines with the statement issued by Mayor Ahong Chan that 2 Persons Under
Investigation (PUIs) are confirmed positive of COVID-19 (Under monitor by DOH for
recovery).

MANDATORY HOME QUARANTINE FOR ALL RESIDENTS, EXCEPT FOR THE FOLLOWING:
i. Medical/health workers and personnel, who will report for work within or outside Lapu-
Lapu City, or an employee working for an exempt business establishment including 1
member of the family /household who will transport them to their workplace.
• The employee shall bring his/her identification card;
• The family/household member shall bring a quarantine pass.
ii. In cases of emergencies or to undergo medical check up, treatment, or procedure,
provided that 1 member of the family/household can accompany the patient;
iii. Purchase food, medicines, groceries and necessary home supplies, provided that only
1 member of the family or household is allowed to leave the home and present a
quarantine pass;
iv. Government officials (skeletal workforce of the local government including the
barangay, and national government agencies operating in Lapu-Lapu City);
v. Members and officials of the Philippine National Police, armed forces, navy, and air
force;
ALL BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENTS ARE TEMPORARY CLOSED, EXCEPT FOR THE
FOLLOWING:
i. Grocery stores, supermarkets, convenience stores including public and private markets
ii. Pharmacies and drug stores;
iii. Hard ware stores;
iv. Hotels and places of accommodation;
v. Banks;
vi. Food establishments and restaurants provided that they only offer take out and home
delivery services;
vii. Medical clinics and laboratories;
viii. Money remittance and foreign currency exchange establishments;
ix. Government agencies operating inside a mall;
x. Water, electricity, cable, and telecommunication companies;
RESTRICTIONS TO THE ENTRY OF NON-RESIDENTS IN LAPU-LAPU CITY, EXCEPT FOR
THE FOLLOWING:
i. Government officials and their staff;
ii. Essential employees of Lapu-Lapu City Government;
iii. Members of the Philippine National Police, armed forces, navy, and air force;
iv. Medical/ health worker and personnel;
v. Those working in an exempt establishment as specified in paragraph C subparagraph
3.
vi. Members of the media;
vii. Emergency rescue vehicle with their personnel;
viii. Other persons as may be exempted by the Mayor.
