Agenda:
1. To discuss subject area of B. Tech Marine Engg (Current Semester - II, IV & VI only)
2. Details to be drawn for completion of lesson plan in totality to avoid teaching any
non-relevant topics even if they are in the existing syllabus.
3. To make a case out of this for revision of syllabus of that subject from next
academic session.
Question Paper template:
1. Preparation of question paper template for every subject of Semester II, IV & VI,
which should be agreed upon by all participants.
2. The end semester question paper for this semester will be based on this skeleton
template e.g.
i) If any question to be compulsory?
ii) If any choice to be given?
iii) How much marks to be allotted?
iv) Should there be parts in particular question?
3. Question paper preparation should remain relevant to the topics covered in the
semester and also should be direct.

Conclusion:
1. The topics of the syllabus need to be very clear about extent of a topic to be taught /
studied.
2. A “Specific Learning Objective / Evaluation Criteria” for each topic may be prepared
which gives full detail of topic, subtopic and related material to be studied to avoid any
ambiguity. (Refer TMI CHLP MAM-II)

3. Classroom teaching and examinations questions must be within the specified Specific
Learning Objective / Evaluation Criteria.
4. Standard reference books, journals, publications covering all topics of syllabus must
be mentioned at the end of syllabus of each subject. Some subjects lack full details.
