FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LOCAL FOOD MANUFACTURING COMPANY TAMPA BAY FISHERIES

DONATES 40,000 SURGIVAL MASKS & 75,000 NITRILE GLOVES
TO FIRST RESPONDERS AND MEDICAL PERSONNEL

Dover, Florida (April 10, 2020) - In this time of crisis, Tampa Bay Fisheries is committed to
doing their part in supporting the community around them. It is critical in this time of the
COVID-19 pandemic to keep the community safe and continue supplying food to America.

Tampa Bay Fisheries (TBF), a local food manufacturing company, has been in business in
Florida since 1991. After hearing the difficulties that Florida communities were facing in
sourcing personal protective equipment, they were able to secure 40,000 surgical masks
and 75,000 gloves to donate to local city and county front-line employees. Their hope is to
assist first responders and public health personnel during this time of crisis in both
Hillsborough and Polk Counties.

Danny Woodson CEO of Tampa Bay Fisheries said, “Our role in this pandemic is to keep food
on America’s tables. My heroes are our 600 employees working to feed America, and all
other critical infrastructure employees putting their health at risk for the greater good of
our country. Our team understands our responsibility and what is being asked of them in
this difficult time. I am very proud to work with this team and realize what it means to do
our part. We are continuing to hire and hope anyone that needs work will come join our
team and keep food moving to fill the grocery shelves.”

TBF will be donating a total of 40,000 masks and 75,000 gloves in two phases with the first
donation taking place Friday, April 10th and the second donation taking place the following
week.

Dow-Yung Kou, COO of Tampa Bay Fisheries said, “The community that has served us and
afforded us the ability to thrive over these years is now in need of our assistance. Now more
than ever, we must all do our part in supporting one another in every way we can. We hope
that our donation will help those who have protected our community.”

Lakeland City Commissioner Scott Franklin, Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister,
and Hillsborough County Fire Chief Dennis Jones will be tasked with ensuring the masks go
to the necessary departments, medical facilities and hospitals within their jurisdictions. TBF
has facilities in Dover and Plant City and they have reached out to first responders in those
communities to assist with additional donations.

With the loss of many local jobs, Tampa Bay Fisheries is continuing to produce foods for
retailers large and small and is currently hiring during this time. Working for TBF means your
health comes first. They are committed to keeping their employees safe by providing all
employees with surgical masks and temperature checking employees daily upon arrival.
