Pre-setting of frequency inverters

LM LIFTMATERIAL does the pre-setting of all frequency inverters in order to

safeguard quick start up of inspection drive for installation, respectively quick
commissioning.

All data of the lift installation are therefore converted by LM LIFTMATERIAL into a so
called „prm“-file, which is then packed together with the parameter setting protocol
into a zip.-file an sent out by e-mail to the manufacturer of the frequency inverter.

In case of loss of data or damage of the data on transport, the zip.-function warrants
that the file is illegible. Thus wrong setting of parameters is fully avoided.

The manufacturer of the frequency inverter transfers the „prm“.-file into the frequency
inverter. A label on the frequency inverter classifies it as having pre-set values.
In case that data have been lost, e.g. due to fault in procedure. the frequency inverter
can be re-programmed at the site by means of the parameter setting protocol which
is glued on the backside of the cover sheet of the frequency inverter.
