Dear Entrepreneurship and Innovation Partners,

Over the past few months, many of you have been involved in conversations about the GO Virginia Region 3 Entrepreneurship and
Innovation Investment (EII) strategy being led by Longwood and MBC. During these unprecedented times, our EII project work
continues, although we must adapt and adjust to the impacts of COVID19. We need your input to adequately address the needs you
are seeing first hand from businesses and entrepreneurs in your communities. As a region, this is our opportunity to innovate and think
outside the box in more ways than we imagined.

Please join us on Tuesday, 4/28, 10am-11am for a Zoom call for a region-wide discussion on how to integrate the impact of
COVID19 into the EII strategy.

Please RSVP by Friday, 4/24 via EventBrite here. The Zoom link will be included in your email confirmation.

Whether or not you can attend, please complete the registration form above, or reply to this email, in order to share your
responses to the following questions:

1. What are your top 3 areas of concern for your entrepreneurial communities?
2. What are your top 3 successful ideas that businesses or organizations have implemented to improve chances of recovery?
Please be as specific as possible.
3. How can Region 3’s entrepreneurship innovation strategy support the recovery of your communities in the short term?
(remainder of this calendar year)
4. How can Region 3’s entrepreneurship innovation strategy support the recovery of your communities in the longer term?
(2021 and beyond)

Your responses will help guide the discussion on 4/28, which will be moderated by myself and Lauren Mathena (MBC) as the project
managers for the Region 3 EII strategy.

We realize that you are extremely busy addressing your community’s needs, and we appreciate your time to contribute to a
collaborative regional strategy.  We are blessed to be in a position to work together to shape a better future because of what we are
facing right now. We look forward to convening as a region on 4/28!
