Article about Pharmacist

Pharmacist is one of the health professions. If people hear the word pharmacist,
maybe what they have in mind is someone who work at drugstore. To become a pharmacist,
someone should graduate from senior high school and continue to college by choosing a
pharmacy study program. The length of education in this study program is 4 years or 8
semesters. After completing 4 years of study and get a bachelor’s degree, the next step is to
take a professional course for 1 year. After this profession lecture is completed, a person has
the right to hold the pharmacist profession.
While studying in college, someone will learn more about medicine and everything
related to medicine such as, medical raw materials, the process of how to make drugs into
product that can be used by the community, medicinal uses, how to use drugs, side effect of
drugs, etc. So, pharmacists are professions that should have broad knowledge about medicine.
Where is the pharmacist profession can be found?. The place that most accommodates
pharmacist is a drugstore. Besides in the drugstore, pharmacist also work in hospital,
especially in pharmacy installations. In addition, pharmacist can also work in drug
manufacturers or work in the field of drug control such as BPOM.
