Senior Marketing Manager

Job Description
The Senior Marketing Manager works with executive management
to develop and implement all aspects of marketing and advertising
for a 13 store licensee group of Ashley Furniture HomeStore and
one independent furniture store, Savvy Spaces.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and planning of promotions using
knowledge of national promotions, past successes,
competitive climate, budgets, seasonality and other factors.

- Place media buys keeping budgets, target audience,


duplication, national buys, competition, ratings, required
GRPs and other goals in mind. Use insertion orders to track
instructions and avoid miscommunication.

- Work with IT department to prepare, send and review emails,


auto-responses, text messages, RSVPs, prospect lists,
unsubscribes, etc.

- Manage relationships with media buyers and media


representatives to ensure that AFHS receives the most
advantageous added value and placement available.

- Prepare creative briefs for ads, signage and collateral,


informing design and production partners on content, creative
theme, formats, placement and deadlines. Track progress
against deadlines.

- Review and request revisions on creative layouts and proofs,


seek approval and ensure delivery to media partners.

- Oversee company’s social media.


- Communicate details of promotions to General Sales
Managers, merchandising personnel and other parties.

- Provide collateral, SKUs and other tools necessary to


implement promotions.

- Perform post-mortem analysis on promotions evaluating post


buy, sales, traffic and similar measures.

- Present analysis of performance to executive management.

- Manage special projects as required.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications
- 2+ year’s related experience (agency or media)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or iWork
