The 3rd ACD-MBA Working Committee Meeting held on 18 December, 2018.
The meeting was
hosted by Our Lady of Fatima University, Philippines. Prof Dr Caroline S. Enriquez, President of Our Lady of Fatima University along with Prof Dr Ignacio Cordova, Prof Dr Rodehlia Macaspac and team arranged this working committee meeting as a member country University of ACD- MBA. The working committee meeting was facilitated by Prof Dato’ Dr Ansary Ahmed, President of Asia e University. Representative from all the member country Universities were also attend this workshop. In this workshop several decisions were made regarding some academic and administrative matters that include the selection ACD-MBA Programme Coordinators for each of the member countries where Dr. Mohammed Masum Iqbal was elected as Coordinator from Daffodil International University. New student applications link also developed as: https://acd-un.aeu.edu.my. They asked to develop a Microsite at each member country University Portal. The entry requirements for this program were also finalized. It was also decided whether there is any English proficiency requirement by member universities. It was mentioned that language of delivery for all participating universities is English. Documents required for application to ACD-MBA Programme will be according to the standards of each university. No documents are required for students to apply for selective courses (single course) to any other partner university of ACD-MBA Programme. With the consent of all participating members some academic issues were agreed that includes Academic Calendar, number of learning weeks, Number of Learning hours, same principle in calculating Learning Hours, Target date for the ACD-MBA to commence, Modes of Delivery , Learning and assessment modes, etc. Their target is to make the programme different by using Key Opinion Leader (KOL) approaches like: include Asian centric-ness in the courses, multimode of campus, engage business community, and invent new courses under ACD umbrella and so on. Moreover the fees structure, regulations for dual certificate also settled in that session. In almost all the academic and administrative issues stated above, it was decided to follow member universities own policy and guidelines respectively. At last it was also agreed by the ACD member universities that there should be a common brochure for ACD-MBA programme for all member universities.
