DON'T BE SCARED
History
Hallo ween

The term "Halloween" in itself would be a

derivation of the name given to the captain of
this procession of the dead, which in turn
would come from ancient traditions of Northern
Europe; this name, according to this theory,
ended up also deriving in Harlequin.
The origin of the festival

Halloween according to traditional theory originates from a

Celtic holiday known as Samhain. Samhain celebrated the
end of the harvest season and was regarded as the "Celtic
New Year", which began with the dark season.

YUMY, THE FOOD
The partys are not the only thing we look
forward to at this time of year, some popular
Halloween meals are also part of this great
celebration.
Candy apples and Pan muerto

This is the time of year when apples are

harvested and that's why there are plenty
of them. The fruit is covered in sticky syrup
and sometimes covered in nuts.

Traditionally prepared in the days leading

up to the Day of the Dead, "pan de muerto"
is a soft, sweet bun. Sometimes it is
decorated with a bone-shaped dough on
top and eaten next to a loved one's grave
to honor their memory.
