EVIDENCE: THE STORY OF BOTTLED WATER

What are the problems derived from drinking bottled water? Mention two

problems at least.

 The first problem is when the production and extraction of oil is used to make water
bottles
 and the second problem when the waste of plastic bottles appears on the streets.

What is the difference between bottled water and drinking water?

the difference is that bottled water is pre-processed and contaminated by the companies that
manufacture the bottles; on the contrary, tap water is simply transferred to people without being
processed.

Describe the process involved in manufacturing a plastic bottle.

When companies obtain raw materials from nature to make bottles, they fill them with processed
water, transport bottles to people, collect empty bottles and, if they do not vote for incinerators,
use them to rebuild new bottles.

What happens with the plastic bottles after we throw them away?

If they don't end up in landfills for many years, they end up in incinerators where toxic pollutants
are expelled for our planet.

What solutions can be implemented to solve this problem?

If we promote political campaigns to reduce the sale of water bottles and if we give the school,
houses and families the consequence of buying bottled water, people will drink tap water without
worry and will not have any type of illness.
Is this problem common in your community? What does the community do to?

deal with it?

If it is common, people buy bottled water believing that it comes from clean areas, but they are
wrong, if each family had a special trash can in their house only for plastic bottles. Many
environmental problems would be fixed in the future.

Will you drink bottled water again? Why, why not?

not because apart from being polluting the environment, I am drinking contaminated water.

If I drink contaminated water, I get sick.

What will you do in the future to reduce the number of plastic bottles used in

the world?

I will create a work group to carry out campaigns in order to demonstrate that the bottles are only
negative in addition, I will put prizes for the people who recycle plastic bottles more and I will
create fine rules, in this way if I give an example, people will follow me and We help the planet.
