1. Definition:

a. Aesthetics-
Adobe’s answer to mobile photo editing. This app is special
for its ability to be approachable enough for casual
photographers while also packing enough punch to deliver
high-quality editing tools to the more seasoned editors out
there. Mirroring common edits made on their desktop
software, Adobe provides its users with an arsenal of
creative editing tools to adjust and play with.

b. Design Element-
Creates direction for the eye to follow. It also is created by
natural things like trees, or the edge of a shape, etc.

1.Shape
a closed line that can be outlined, filled, or mathematical.

2.Form
are areas of masses that essentially define an object in
space. This can be 2-D or 3-D.

3.Texture
can be achieved through repeated lines or dots, etc. You can
make scales, bricks, fur, wood using these basic elements.

4.Space
can be used to balance and give eyes a rest. Can also be
used to place text, logos, and animations.

5.Color
the eyes' perception of the light spectrum. For design
purposes, it includes black and white.
DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY

6.Tone
the brightness and shading of an image or a design element,
independent of its color.

7.Emphasis
calling attention to a design element through the use of
large type, color, size, or contrast.

8.Balance
even or proportional distribution of elements within the
design landscape. The three types are symmetrical,
asymmetrical, and radial.

9.Alignment
The arrangement of elements in a line.

10.Contrast
the difference between two nearby elements; can be color,
texture, scale, or shape.

11.Pixel
A single dot in a digital image that is assigned a specific
location or value. They are the base elements for all images
in Photoshop.

12.Object
A shape which has been drawn in Photoshop which can be
moved and rasterized.

C.Signage and advertising methods-

Digital signage is only as effective as the content it displays.

Screens are nothing but a medium, while content has the
power to shape the customer experience and inspire action.
You may have a few promotional graphics and social media

feeds to share on your screens, but how do you create truly
compelling digital signage content. Knowledge of a few tools
and best practices is a good start, and you don’t have to be
a design pro to implement them. Here’s how to create digital
signage content that rocks.

D.Image editing software-

Photoshop does have some claim to being the best photo

editing software there is, simply because it's the tool most
used by professionals and the best-known software tool by
far.

But Photoshop is pretty limited in its approach, and Adobe's

subscription-based software plans are not popular with
everyone, even now. In fact, there are lots of non-Adobe
alternatives which take a different and often more
innovative approach to photo editing.

Photoshop might still be the best at what it does, but what

it does may not be what you want!

Q1. How effective marketing and signage design that appeal

specific audiences.

To get the most out of your signage, Budev believes there are
three important design principles all business owners need to
keep in mind when designing banners, posters and other signage.

1. Compelling color
The choice of color plays a huge part in a well-designed
sign. We have seen that often color can help convey a
brand’s identity. Studies have shown that 80 percent of the
recognition of a trademark is due to colors and its effects.
Trendy colors may feel compelled to convey their personality
via signs that use current, modern colors.
2. Contrast for readability
A sign’s contrast will usually determine its readability.
Contrast, therefore, is a huge factor for any engaging sign.
Most signs will include either text or graphics in the
foreground, with a continuous background colors.
3. Size matters
Simply put, the larger the letter, the easier it is to read.
This is especially important if you’re creating roadside
signage or signs that will be displayed at a significant
distance.

Q2. What a company does directly influences their design

In fact, it’s in your best interest to make sure that every logo

design choice is intentional and communicates the message you
want to convey, because thoughtless design choices lead to
misleading or confusing. Some elements affect your logo's
influence on customers' purchasing decisions.

1.The psychology of fonts

Fonts have a psychological impact on people. The emotion they

generate is directly tied to the shape of the letters and
our psychological response to those shapes. So, people have to
deside which font style will work best for your business.

2.The psychology of shapes in logo design

Geometric shapes

Geometric shapes look man-made. Mathematically precise

squares, perfect circles and Isosceles triangles don’t tend to
appear in nature. So, using these shapes communicates a sense
of order and power. The various types:

Abstract or symbolic shapes

Symbols are simplified shapes that represent something specific

in a culture. And, because symbols have clear, common
meanings, they are relied upon heavily as a visual language.

Organic shapes

Organic shapes include the shapes of organic items occurring in

nature (rocks, leaves, tree bark, amoebas, water ripples, etc.).
This category also encompasses any irregular non-symbolic
shape, even if it's not inspired by nature. When utilizing organic
shapes, keep these guidelines in mind:

3.The psychology of lines

Lines divide space. They create definition and form. They

communicate direction. Lines tell us where to stand and where to
drive. But, beyond their practical function, they can also
communicate a great deal aesthetically. In fact, geometric line art
logos are popular in logo design trends this year.

4.The psychology of colors

Color contributes the strongest emotional trigger in your logo

design repertoire because colors are strongly linked to emotions
in the human psyche. Whether our interpretation of colors is
hardwired into our brains or is due to cultural influence or a
combination of the two there is a generally accepted language of
color.

requirements very greatly.

long-lasting and ever-present relationships with their audience. It
