Ref: Hon'ble Vice Chancellor approval dated: 11.12.2019 VIU TEQIP Cell invites the proposals from pre final year/final year UG students and PG students of VTU PG Centres, Constituent and Non-TEQIP Affiliated Colleges for the Project Exhibition/Competition “AVISHKAR” which will be scheduled tentatively in the,month of April/May 2020.The initiative is aimed at making the students proactive in designing engineering projects catering towards the rising needs and expectations. In this connection, each college shall submit TWO project proposals, one under General group and another under Equity Action Plan (EAP). There shall be minimum of two students and maximum of four students in each project team. For the projects under EAP atleast 50% of students shall belong to SC/ST/woman, Caste Certificate (SC/ST) is to be submitted along with the EAP proposal. Objectives: ‘+ To provide design experience to the students through teamwork and improve their knowledge on the project management methodology. * To provide students with the experience of realization of a product from conceptual design to working model. * To provide students the ability to communicate effectively. * To encourage students to attempt fora solution of real-life problem, Project Topi 1, Woman Safety 2. Swachh Bharat 3. Swasth Bharat 4, Digital India 5. Green Energy 6, Environmental safety 7. Agricultural Equipment 8. Equipments for specially abled 9. Autonomous Vehicles 10. Any other innovative project The selected project teams will get project and the same teams will be participating in the Project Exhibition/Competition “AVISHKAR”. There are attractive cash awards for the winners of the Competition. VTU TEQIP Cell also provides a maximum financial assistance of Rs. 5,000/- or actual, whichever is less, towards the Registration Fees for presenting in the Conferences.
