Medical Emergency
o A medical team shall be placed in the adjoining buffer village to cater to any medical
emergency that might arise
o In case of a medical emergency requiring hospitalisation, the same shall be certified
by the concerned BMO and the patient along with one attendant only should be duly
red stamped and then shifted in ambulance for further treatment
Essential Services
o AD Food will designate TSOs as Nodal Officers for providing essential goods to the
needy situated within the red zone
o TSOs will utilize their man-power for providing essential commodities while taking
necessary precautions and using protective gear
o PDD and PHE deptts. shall ensure regular electricity and water supply respectively to
the red zone
Fumigation
o E.O. of the nearest Municipal Committee shall ensure fumigation of all
common/public places within the red zone twice a day while taking necessary
precautions and using protective gear
o All Ambulances / Duty / Supply vehicles entering / leaving the red zone shall be
fumigated
Health Screening / Surveillance
o 100% door to door surveillance shall be carried out in the red zone
o A database containing details of all family members to be created by the Health
Surveillance teams including details of non-communicable diseases
o Detailed health screening of the contacts and all souls within 300m to be carried out
o Intensive testing of contacts and neighbouring families to be carried out
o Home Quarantine stickers shall be pasted in the red zone area
o Contacts and all family members of a COVID +ve patient to be hospital quarantined
or institution quarantined as per SOP
o Village surveillance and containment committees to be immediately activated in the
village
o ASHA workers to collect the list of ANC patients with EDD and BMO shall take
necessary action
Universal usage of face masks shall be ensured in the red zone village
Grievance Redressal
o To address any grievance, a dedicated call centre be setup for red zone villages
LDM shall communicate with the service area branch of the red zone to provide a mobile
ATM once in 15 days for any emergent need with due precautions
Information regarding villages in red zone and buffer zone to be publicised regularly
through electronic and social media for sensitization of all
Create database of influencers in the village like religious leaders, govt. servants PRI
members and utilize them in spreading awareness and ensuring total lockdown
