From Mines the raw material after being loaded is sent by rails, dumper or pipe conveyors.

At the destination it is unloaded using a wagon tippler, track hopper or truck tippler

The raw material then goes into a hopper, and via gate(rod or rack & pinion) it goes to a feeder.

Feeder can be vibro-feeder or plough feeder or apron feeder.

After feeder it is transferred to a conveyor for storage.

At storage a stacker cum reclaimer takes material from coveyors and stores at the yard by forming
piles

The storage capacity is determined by the material properties and source of raw materials (whether
purchased or mined from owned mines)
