Witness Rennie Lising’s Statements

Inconsistent with Each Other

The statements of the witness lack the facts that would prove the
crime of Murder beyond reasonable doubt as the witness himself
would commit internal inconsistencies within his statements
hence undermining his credibility hence it it questionable
whether it did admit anything in court which proved that there is
no proof beyond reasonable doubt . In the instant case
prosecution produced the testimony of barangay tanod Rennie
Lising stating among others the following:

Defense Lawyer:

Q: Before the shooting happened, did you see Mr.

Ambon (victim) and Realizan (accused) talking to
each other?

A: Yes sir.

Meanwhile later on by reason of profound afterthought on

what happened witness Rennie Lising altered his statement to
the following and leaves one who reads his testimony puzzled.

Q: Just between the two of them, did you see them

talking to each other?

A: I did not see the two of them talking to each other

before the shooting incident?
Q: You did not see Realizan and Mr. Amon facing
each other before the shooting incident?

A: Ambon, the victim, was just standing there with

his two hands arms across his front.”
