Evaluation

Overall I think I did a good job with this shoot. I made sure to focus on looking up as well as making
spacious images because this was a limitation to the previous shoot and I think that this shoot turned
out better once I knew these were my limitations.

I created four final images from roughly 40 different images using different angles and shot types. I
wish I could have been left with six final images but unfortunately a lot of the images were the same as
I think I was really trying to focus on making them good images.

I like the lighting that I shot in as it helped the make the images feel spacious and also just look
appealing as cloudy skies are not very appealing compared to blue skies. I also think I did a good job
at using my manual camera settings to take these images, all of them are crisp clear and easy to
notice that the subject matter is old architecture as well as being bright and vibrant, similar to the
colours in real life.

Another thing I wanted to focus on from the previous shoot was my composition techniques as I
always stick to the same ones. I tried to create some symmetry in one of my final images and I think it
worked really nicely as it made the image feel balanced. The balance is appealing to me and therefore
I think that my audience would find it appealing also.

In terms of where to go next, I am planning on shooting a new boathouse that is in my neighbourhood

too as I obviously can’t go anywhere else. I’m not sure if this is modern architecture or old architecture
as I event actually seen it yet but I will try to make it fit with my shoot using the same meaning
focusing on perspective and spaciousness.

In conclusion, I think I have produced a nice shoot here, a lot better than the first shoot with this
church as my subject matter.
