Dear Diary,

My names is Bianca, I am a sixteen year old girl and I am from a small village in Italy. I woke up this
morning and immediately got ready to go to school. My daily life is always rushed but I do not mind it. I
love going to school and seeing all of my school friends. I only get to see my school friends at school. We
all live far away from each other so we only see each other while were at school. That is just how high
school is here. Although I can not wait to see my school friends I am not as close to them as I am with
my friends the live in the same area as me. We all went to the same kindergarten and primary school.
We all grew up together so all of us are really close. For some people it is hard to find friends to hangout
with as their friends from school live far away and the ones they have living in their area already have
their own friend group. I was lucky enough to keep my friends close in the area. We always hang out
when we get home from school. Once I am ready I went and ate my breakfast, which is my first of the
typical three meals a day we eat. It was a light breakfast of bread and jam with a glass of milk. Before I
left I saw out Christmas tree and decorations. We are Catholic but we do not follow the strict lifestyle.
My family is very loose to have us follow the rules of religion but we take Christmas very seriously. It is
only November nut we are ready for Christmas. School was just a normal day. I do not do any
extracurricular activates after school so I have a lot of time after school to organize my time. I tend to be
very independent which I really like. It makes me feel like I am an adult. Because I am independent, I get
to go what I want once school is over. Today I met my closest friends form my home village at our
favorite café and we talked about our day. We talk very loudly because we are so excited to see each
other. While we were talking we decided that tonight we were all going to go out dancing and have fun.
We all left each other and headed to our homes for supper. My family and I are so close. That how it is
with all families here. All of us are usually all rushing but we always find a way to spend quality time
together by eating supper together. It’s a time for all of us to catch up. I get to hear what my parents,
sister and brother did that day and they get to hear what I did today. For supper we had pasta with
cheese and vegetables. Once we ate that we always finish with fruit. After supper was over I met back
up with my friends and we went out dancing. I came back home and went to bed to be able to start a
new day.
