Backup and Recovery:

Exim bank is a large organization so, their IT system set up is highly sophisticated and the data
backup requirement too is quite large. The organization has a network of dedicated servers for E-
mails, Database, File servers etc. In the case of such large networks, the number of users is also
quite huge.

Exim bank has primary server of their own firewall named JUNIPER SRX 240 for backup and
disaster recovery at its head office at Gulshan where they kept all of their required information.
To establish real time situation assessment, all the data are backed up on a daily basis. This
firewall is highly developed as it protects thousands of data.The backup is organized in a
centralized manner for each location or department. The backup service is supported with mirror
servers.

For assuring the safety of their system all the time it has done many repetition allotment . Other
than every computer in the bank has licensed Kaspersky Antivirus protection. They also have a
DR site and it has a backup of everything, so if anything happens, data can be recovered from
here.
