Skill to master: Identifying and understanding shorashim

Section 1:

Your task: We have learned the first 2 days of creation so far in class! Kol hakavod! Now
it is time to IDENTIFY the shorashim that are in the first 10 pasukim of Bereishis.

Before we get started…

1. How many letters are in a shoresh?_________________________________

2. Please take out 4 different colored highlighters. There are at least 4 different
shorashim within these pesukim. It is your job to be able to identify at least 4 of
them by highlighting each shoresh you find in a DIFFERENT color. Keep in mind
that some shorashim appear more than once, so it is important to make sure you
highlight ALL of them.
