The corona virus pandemic has made everything turn digital; from classroom lessons to

gym sessions. After the lockdown many people find online shopping more practical as it allows
them to complete their daily chores with a simple click.

Firstly, online shopping can be less stressful than going to a crowded supermarket
with no long queues where you can contact other people who might be contaminated by the
virus. it’s just you and your computer which is much safer for your health! Generally, online
shopping is much more practical for it permits the consumer to choose between a wide
variety of products without being obliged to by only what is displayed on shelves.

Secondly, online shops don’t have specific opening or closing times. This is perfect
for people who are stuck inside their houses because of the emergency lockdown. Not to
mention the driving time that we used to spend, the stressful traffic jams and the heavy loads
of merchandise we are forced to carry. Delivery services can simply relieve this burden.

In the current scenarios, there are certainly numerous pros to online shopping.
However, one can not deny the countless risks of the same method. Sometimes malwares
can be used to hack your personal credit card information especially if the shopping sites are
not certified or fake. also, you must pay double price for delivery which makes it very
expensive. Many people had reported online shopping fraud cases in which they received
fake or low-quality products. sometimes the merchandise might not correspond to the criteria
provided by sites. In addition to that experts warned from the risk of getting contaminated
from parcels or even the delivery person.

In a nutshell, like any other method online shopping has its advantages and its
disadvantages. It is up to us as individuals to make the most of its strengths and overcome
the weaknesses.
