The Toronto-based company reported June 30 second-quarter net income of $418,000, or 3 cents a share, up from
$110,000, or 1 cent a share, a year earlier.

Boardwalk Equities Inc. of Calgary reported May 31 year-end net income of $2.3 million, or 16 cents a share, more
than doubling $1.1 million, or 9 cents a share, a year earlier.

Atlantis Communications Inc. said it sailed to higher profits thanks to the popularity of such television shows as
the swashbuckling Adventures Of Sinbad.

The Toronto-based company reported June 30 second-quarter net income of $418,000, or 3 cents a share, up from
$110,000, or 1 cent a share, a year earlier.

Revenues rose to $26 million from $21 million.

Six-month net income totalled $1.4 million, or 13 cents a share, up from $647,000, or 7 cents a share, a year earlier.

Revenues dipped to $57.9 million from $58.3 million.

Atlantis is an international producer and distributor of television programming. BOARDWALK EQUITIES

Boardwalk Equities Inc. of Calgary reported May 31 year-end net income of $2.3 million, or 16 cents a share, more
than doubling $1.1 million, or 9 cents a share, a year earlier.

Revenues jumped to $51.1 million from $32.8 million.

Harbour Petroleum Co. Ltd. of Calgary reported a June 30 six-month net loss of $10.7 million, or 38 cents a share,
compared with a loss of $711,000, or 3 cents a share, a year earlier.

The company said this year's results include a $10.9 million, one-time ``book loss'' on asset disposition resulting
from a change in accounting policies.

Irwin Toy Ltd. of Toronto reported July 31 second-quarter net income of $134,000, or 3 cents a share, down from
$236,000, or 5 cents a share, a year earlier.

Revenues grew to $21 million from $20.5 million.

Six-month net income totalled $187,000, or 4 cents a share, down from $574,000, or 11 cents a share, a year earlier.

Revenues were $38.5 million, compared with $38.7 million.
