Itis important to discuss measurement in
terms of standard units such as metres,
millimetres and centimetres. This will
continue to familiarize your child with
associating measurement with the proper
‘metric units.

Long do you think that table is in
metres?” or “I think that pen is 11
centimetres long, how long do you think
is?”.
