The dream of exporting “Made in Bangladesh” mobile phones is now coming true as Walton is
now setting its footing in the markets of united states. It is a remarkable leap for our
manufacturing industry. The quality of locally made smartphones with the added advanced
features is drawing the attention of international buyers. This step is being revered as a huge
milestone for our country.
The homegrown electronic giant is not stopping at this. After US they are looking forward to the
markets of Europe, Australia and Canada. In the recent years Walton has been hitting new
milestones but the getting into the international market has shown us Walton’s true potential.
The First consignment of the smartphones, which would be priced between 100$ and 200$, will
be out of the gates of Walton Digi-tech Industries’ plant in Gazipur on March. Walton is now the
gamechanger in our manufacturing industry. Not only in mobile, Walton excels in production of
other high-tech product too and provides the markets of Asia and Middle East. Walton is set to
manufacture for the tech giant Amazon. Aside from Mobiles it is also manufacturing and
assembling laptops. Since Walton is gradually finding its feet overseas, officials said they will
now double down efforts to make it the best Bangladeshi brand in the global market by 2030.
