Iceland is a Nordic island country between the North Atlantic and the Arctic Ocean
Iceland is known by its unspoiled nature, beautiful biodiversity, and its amazing midnight
sun. It is a beautiful country and the perfect destination for a weekend, and even is a perfect
place to live.
 
The attractions of Iceland are purely natural. Iceland has a spectacular landscape made of
majestic glaciers and snowy peaks. Also have many geysers, and the famous Strokkur
which erupts every 8–10 minutes. Snowfall in winter is common in the north part of the
country. If you love nature this is the right place to be.
 
Iceland has one of the most beautiful biodiversities. Which include the Icelandic sheep,
cattle, chickens, goats, the sturdy Icelandic horse, and the Icelandic Sheepdog. Also Iceland
has a lot of wild mammals some of them are the Arctic fox, mink, rats, rabbits and reindeer.
Polar bears occasionally visit the island, travelling on icebergs from Greenland. Therefore,
if you are interested in learning more about wildlife, this will be the perfect destination.
 
Iceland is also known for the phenomenon of the midnight which is one of the most
beautiful spectacles in the World and only occurs in June during the long winter. There are
also special excursions to the island of grimsey on the Arctic Circle where you can see
during the long winter nights the Northern lights which are often visible from Iceland. Also
during the summer, in the North the sun never sets.
 
Iceland is a spectacular place with unspoiled nature, perfect weather if you enjoy being cold
