The Birmingham Belugas are the newest franchise in the National Football League. This team is the first Alabama
professional sports team ever. The fanbase should be extensive with how popular college football is in the state with
schools like Alabama and Auburn. It is only logical that the next step was to create a professional team. We are the
33rd NFL team with a home stadium sitting 60,000 people opening up before the season starts.
