Dear Whom It May Concern,

My name is Allison Neal and I am a graduating senior at Piper High School. I am very interested
in enrolling to Avila University. I am in love with the nursing program, and I feel that it best suits
me. I found Avila through the cheer team. I also like the nursing program that Avila has, and I
would really be interested in attending the nursing program.

Through my involvement at Piper High School, I have learned a wide variety of skills. I have
been involved in Piper High School’s Varsity cheer team for 4 years. I have also been on the
Piper High School choir for the past 4 years. I really love being a part of a team and being able
to rely on the friends I have made through my activities.I also enjoy others being able to rely on
me for whenever they need help. I have also been a part of Girl Scouts since 2007. Girl Scouts
has helped me to be involved with my community, and to participate in group projects for the
community. I really do enjoy being a part of positive groups that enjoy doing good for each other
and the community.

I have been able to keep 2 jobs all while attending school and being on the cheer team. With
these responsibilities I have been able to keep my grades to at least a B. I also have my cheer
team and all that we have accomplished. We have been awarded 1st at State and 6th at
nationals overall. I do think my school record affect my effort and ability because I have
managed my grades to an average B over my four years of attending Piper High School.
