The Chinese Girl and The Bamboo

tradition for Chinese to have tea tables and set, bamboos were harvested in order for

and strength of the bamboos were measured in order for their reliability is assured.
Following a certain template or pattern for the furniture, the bamboos were marked. In
order to achieve the flexibility and sturdiness of the bamboo, they were cut, sawed,
smoothened, heated, and cleaned. Assembled, tied, and secured were the bamboos
using scrap bamboos and twine. Testing the furniture’s durability, it was stepped on.
Finally, in the house, the furniture was placed and by the girl and the grandmother, it
has been used for tea.
