With great honor I recommend Michael Young for the Cat Simulator Scholarship. I trust Michael
will be considered for this scholarship to help him achieve his dreams of becoming a heavy equipment
operator.

I have know Michael during his high school years. He has worked for me on our farm on many
occasions. His dream career ocupation is to be a heavy equipment operator. He has always expressed
interest in operating mobile equipment. I feel he just needs the proper training to achieve this goal.

Michael has always wanted to operate every piece of equipment we are using. He has always been
patient to learn operational techniques.

Michael is very close to completing the raml pf Eagle Scout. I feel this achievement says a lot about
the young man. The rank of Eagle Scout takes several years to achieve. He has worked his way
through cub and boy scout programs to achieve this honor. Not many young men will stay with the
program to achieve this accomplishment.

I feel Michael deserves the chance to achieve his goals and later give back to society and the Scouting
community.
