BITS Pilani end user Wi-Fi setup guide

To configure wi-fi on laptop, switch on the wireless button and then click on the
wireless icon on right bottom of the task bar. A window will pop up which
would resemble somewhat as shown in the following snapshot.
Follow the steps as highlighted in each of the snap shots for rest of the
configuration. (blue colored ovals to move to next window/pop-ups & red
colored ones for selection)

1. Select open network and sharing center

2. Click on Network and Sharing Center

3. Click on Set up a connection on Network

4. Click on manually connect to a wireless network and click on Next

5. Enter the fields as given in next picture

6. Change connection settings
7. Check the box as highlighted
8. Select the security tab
9. Once you click the settings button as shown above, following screen will pop
up.
10 Click configure as shown above and follow steps in next screen
11. Click Ok button
12 Once you have followed the above steps you will be connected to the BITS
Wi-Fi network.
