1 . A political system is optimal not because it produces the policies that you
prefer. It produces the policies that much smarter people prefer.
I totally disagree, I think that policies are made by the most powerful people and for
their convenience, poor citizens are the most affected, we have a government with
a corrupt political system full of thieving politicians since they use the laws to profit
from the people's money
2. The ideal system depends on the cultural attributes of the population.
I agree, culture characterizes and differentiates us from other civilizations, therefore
a system with a democratic culture offers respect norms.
3. Individuals should be admitted to schools and hired for jobs based on their
ability.
I agree, since the person wants to study they must be admitted and for that reason
they study and train in a specific area, to be able to perform a workforce according
to their abilities and aptitudes.
4. Unlike the private sector, the government is motivated by public interest.
I do not agree with this, neither the private or the public sector are motivated by the
public interest, I really do not disagree with anything from the public sector and the
private sector is for those who have the resources to access it.
5) Taxes allow the government to create jobs and provide welfare programs for
people in need.
I agree, but not completely, although it is true that there are programs to help those
most in need, on the other hand, not all tax-affected resources are used for these
programs since there are corrupt people who steal that money, affecting the political
rights of citizens.
6) Governmental programs encourage people to become dependent and lazy
instead of inspiring them to become hard-working and independent.
I do not agree, government programs are to help people who really do not have a
way to get ahead or need additional help in terms of their business, work or studies,
these programs are in order to help, not to maintain .
