Food Chain System

The concept is providing food to the needy person and gathering all NGOs at central place,
so that their job becomes easy to help people.

This is not limited to Covid19 situation only. We can use this app whenever there is situation
like Covid19 or may be in normal life situation.

This can be extension of any government app or completely individual app. We are thinking
to more it as extension of govt app because such app(e.g. Aarogya Setu) already have few
basic information where we already know orange, yellow and red zone.

There are three main parts of the app:

1) NGOs (we can provide food):
a. They can register as NGO in the app.
b. After login into the app as NGO, they can add capacity of food they can
provide on daily basis like quantity per day. They can also modify quantity
manually for specific day.
c. There will be section where they can see people requested for food and
change status(Pending/Delivered).
2) People (I need food):
a. They can register via facebook/google.
b. After login into the app as user, they can select date and quantity in the
‘Request food’ form page.
c. Once user submit page, based on the internal logic of the app, it will
automatically select the NGO(nearest NGO, remaining quantities etc.)
d. NGO and user both will get push notification/email/SMS for the request.
e. We can add logic that only person from Red Zone can request for food, so
that no one can misuse this feature.
3) Volunteer:
a. If any user wants to become volunteer to help during Covid19 situation, they
can add this request.
b. Once user selects NGO to become volunteer of that NGO, NGO will get
notification.
c. Based on the need, NGO will either approve or reject the request. User will
get the notification immediately of the status.
d. Once NGO approves, volunteer has to do formalities as per NGO norms
manually by contacting them.
e. Volunteer might also have to do health checkup that s/he is not infected (if
he belongs to red zone). Again, this should be taken care by NGO/volunteer
manually.
