STAGE SCHOOLS
At a stage school, young people learn how to
become actors, dancers and singers. There are
many stage schools in the UK. One of the most
famous stage schools is the Sylvia Young Theater
School in London. There are 250 students at the
school. Children aged between 10 and 16 go
there.
At Sylvia Young Theater School students learn all
of the subjects, like maths, history and science,
which students learn at secondary schools. They
do these subjects on Mondays, Tuesdays and
Wednesdays. Then they dance, sing and act on
Thursdays and Fridays. There aren’t any lessons
on Saturdays or Sundays.
