Belbin’s 9 team roles:


1. Co-ordinator (leader of the team)
2. Team worker
3. Resource manager (book rooms)
4. Plant (creative, gives new ideas how to solve problems)
5. Monitor evaluator (try to judge people, actual works not like team workers, slow to
come to decisions)
6. Specialist (focuses on a specific thing)
7. Shaper (focus on the main of the project
8. Implementer (implementing the planned actions)
9. Completer Finisher (perfectionists, searches out errors)

Team Development (Tuckman Ladder)

Forming, Storming, Norming, Performing, Adjourning

1. Forming (team meets and talks about the project and what they need to do)
2. Storming (Sharing the ideas between team members)
3. Norming (team become work together, trust and understand each other,
takes shorter period of time
4. Performing (Starts functions as a well-organized unit)
5. Adjourning (completes the work and moves on from the project)
