First Section

● INT. CONFESSIONAL BOOTH - NIGHT (studio) Opening scene (Dialogue is of the


confessional box during this) Confession box scene
● INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT Paul and the girlfriend wakes up to banging
● INT. HALLWAY - NIGHT Paul investigates the hallway but it feels unfamiliar
● INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT He goes into the living to see the rosary beads being lifted
by nothing
● Paul drops to his knees and prays
● The beads fall to the ground
● INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT Paul goes back up to the bedroom in shock unable to answer
his girlfriend’s questions

There seems to be a missing interaction between Paul and Maria after the Rosary beads
explode. If she heard the banging as well, then she would want to know what it was. And it
makes no sense for Paul to lie to her, for them both to then get Father John. It might be a better
idea to only have Paul hear the banging. That way you only need to add the interaction the next
morning.

● Girlfriend goes back to sleep and Paul lays wide awake. (We hear the dialogue to the
next scene)

Second Section

● INT. PROHOCIAL HOUSE - DAY We hear the dialogue of the next scene of Paul talking
to father john about what happened
● Father john questions paul about his life
● Paul explains that he wouldn’t go back to his previous life
● Father john explains what he needs to do
● Father explains what he’ll do the next night

Third

● INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT Paul and his girlfriend are anxious about father john’s
arrival
● Father john arrives and feels that something isn’t right
● Paul find the remote behind the tv and an exploded rosary bead beside it. He is
reluctant to start the process with father john.
● Father John advices that they should all get to work rather than getting tea
● Maria explains that the hallway felt cold.
● Father questions if anything else happened.
● Maria feels that she can’t live in the house any longer because she feels too
uncomfortable in the house, so she pleads to father John to help her.
● Father john comforts Maria in her vulnerability. (B-roll of him starting the process)

Fourth

● INT. HALLWAY - NIGHT They get to the top of the stairs, the three stops at once when
they feel the drop in temperature. The priest proceeds to pray and blesses the master
bedroom. INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT They feel some relief.
● INT. HALLWAY - NIGHT Father John can't open the baby's room, he tries a couple
times. Paul says the room is never locked. The door slams open. Maria is terrified so
Paul stays with her in the hall while Father John enters the baby’s room praying. INT.
BABY ROOM - NIGHT The door slams shut behind him. Everyone panics trying to get
him out. The door slowly opens to reveal Father John, he looks defeated. He tells them
that they need a stronger priest and that they should leave the house
● Paul is trying to comfort Maria, but once father John leaves the house, Paul is left in the
hallway by himself while Maria is panicking. The camera is slowly panning inwards. Paul
then goes back into the living room and after a cry from Maria, the camera cuts to the
next morning. Paul is now on the stairs and Maria storms out of the house. We then hear
the audio from Paul and Maria’s fight, a few moments before.Maria is packing her stuff.
It's too much stress for her and the baby.

Fifth

● Paul is at his wits end so he goes back to the prohocial house to speak to Father John.
● INT. PROHOCIAL HOUSE - DAY Paul gets there to be told that Father John has left for
a sabbatical. He sees a senior priest, Father mclaughlin, who is possessed in real life.
● Father McLaughlin tells Paul that Father John told him about his situation, he goes on to
say that what happened took its toll on him and that he will need time to recuperate. He
tells Paul that he will contact the Bishop to see what they could do. (Making Paul think
that even the church isn't free from evil)
● Father Mclaughlin gets up and shakes Paul's hand as he leaves
Sixth
● We hear a phone ringing in the background.
● INT. HOUSE The scene transitions to Paul sitting down, trying to get in contact with
Maria.
● Failing to get through to Maria, Paul gets up feeling defeated and walks out of the house.
● Paul is out walking by himself. (The camera is looking at Paul from the side on an ultra
wide)
● EXT. WATERS EDGE - GOLDEN HOUR Paul walks to the waters edge and looks out at
the water.
● The Boy tugs at Paul and says, ‘you dropped these’. And places rosary beads into Paul's
hand.
● Paul looks at the rosery beads then back up. The boy is now gone.
● EXT. CHAPEL - GOLDEN HOUR Paul turns around and sees the chapel, grips the
rosary, and marches towards the chapel.
