A young girl’s dream starts with a big “WHY”? Why we are here?
What is the purpose of
going every day in school? Why do we need to study hard to get a perfect score? The answer is because we have a dream. A dream for ourselves that someday we can be a doctor, a teacher or a businessman. A dream for our family and a dream for our community. I remember the times when everything was hard for me in school. I had a hard time picking up lessons in some of my subjects. But this is nothing compare to those students who go to school despite of financial difficulties. This is nothing compare to those students who are experiencing family problems. Nothing compare to those who are sick but still chose to fight for their dreams. Nothing compare to those who wake up early and walk miles without slippers just to attend their classes. Nothing compare to those who attend flag ceremonies with empty stomach. Nothing compare to those students who do household chores before going to school. Hearing those stories of victory made me realize how lucky I am today to have my parents who is able to provide everything for me. They are my inspiration in my studies. They are the reason why I push to be the best version of myself. Seeing my parents every day and how they work hard just to provide for us is enough for me to go to school and stand here in front of you. Someday I want to give back to them. I want to see them enjoying life and experiencing the things they don’t experienced because they chose first to provide our needs. I want to see them retired in all of those hardworks. The dream of wanting to provide for my family don’t just ended there. I also want to help my community as a future part of the workforce and one who leads. My education is not just for my family I also strive hard because I want to help other people. I want to open opportunities for them especially in education. I want to see other people become victorious in their life and someday testify how they overcome their milestones. I want to be an inspiration to others especially to you my fellow classmates to put value and passion in our studies. The only key to unlock our dreams is through EDUCATION. There is so much “WHY” in this world we can get to overcome every mile stones ahead of us. Those dreams will remain dreams unless we make it a reality. Let’s all be in faith and in action that our dreams someday will come true. Thank you and God bless us all!
