Dieting has its own advantages and disadvantages and it depends on us whether to follow a

good example of diet or the opposite one. Everyone must think wisely and stay healthy when

choose a good diet plan.

Veganism is defined as a way of living that attempts to exclude all forms of animal

exploitation and cruelty whether for foods, clothing and any other purposes. A whole-food of

vegan diet is based on a wide variety of a whole plant foods (Center for Nutrition Studies,

2016). Vegans tend to be thinner and they have a lower body mass index. It seems very

effective in helping people to reduce the amount of calories they eat that results in weight

loss. The higher the fibre intake by a person, the greater it will reduce the blood sugar

response. Thus, these are the reasons that vegan diet can improve blood sugar control

(Regina Castro, 2018).
