1. I think Respighis’s Roman Trilogy is a wonderful piece, which use
and combine the instruments like colours. This is what I like so much, like in Debussy’s music, too. From the very small and soft sounds to the very monumental and big sounds. I like how Respighi shows the different instrument’s speciality. 2. Tedx: I agree with Claire in fact of „practice isn’t make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect” and most of her ideas. The sitting power is really important but without concentration it not has a good result. And the repeating of small parts from the piece is the better learning process in practice. But I don’t really like the too administrative and the exactly pre-planned things, like tabling in practice. I noticed that I have days with more productive practicing and I have with less productivity. I think the consistent exercise is relevant, but sometimes we need to listen our inner sound about how play that piece and resolve the problem. The most essential thing is the daily practice, but the method it can change depending the piece or our actual spirit.
