Overview
These instructions describe how to upgrade the epoc Reader firmware using the epoc Host.

Upgrade the epoc Reader firmware.

How to Upgrade
1. Plug in the epoc Reader and turn it ON.

2. Log in to the epoc Host as Administrator.

3. Allow the Host to discover the Reader and navigate to the Reader’s upgrade tab.

Tap and hold Reader icon and Select the upgrade tab ( ). Tap on the “Upgrade” button.
select “Configure” from the menu

Host connecting to Reader… Downloading and processing update… Reader firmware update is complete.
Tap the icon to exit

4. Verify that the correct Reader firmware version was loaded successfully.

Tap and hold Reader icon and Select the configuration tab ( ). Verify Reader firmware version.
select “Status” from the menu

5. The epoc Reader is now ready for use.
