Some Checking Points on 8100 Power Board

1. Is there any way to check the photo sensor and the Limit switch detector either it works fine or
not?

When measuring the voltage of pin (which is in the middle of ‘JP3’ connector), the customer
could check that it would change DC 0~5V. If the voltage changes like that(DC 0~5V), the
photo sensor is in normal state.

(See in this way)

Operation Mode “1”(1on, 2off, 3off, 4off) : 8100TD

Operation Mode “2”(1off, 2on, 3off, 4off) : Shiller

Operation Mode “3”(1off, 2on, 3off, 4on) : Nihon Kohden

Operation Mode “4”(1on, 2on, 3off, 4off) : Power Jog

Operation Mode “5”(1off, 2on, 3on, 4off) : Danil SMC

3.

Error Number 1 : Communication error(Power board ~ Inverter(Mitsbishi))

Error Number 2 : Motor Current zero(Belt stop)

Error Number 3 : Motor Current over(overload)

Error Number 4 : Can not detect sensor pulse from incline motor

Error Number 5 : not used

Error Number 6 : Emergency Switch On

Error Number 7 : Communication error(Power board ~ ECG(Trackmaster protocol))

Error message is same for old power board and new power board.

4. What is the D.C voltage output at the connector of G-UP, G-COM and G-DOWN?

→ In case of Incline motor, AC 220 voltage is input. In the middle of operation, following
voltages are measured.

G-COM ~ G-DOWN : 220V

G-COM ~ G-UP : 220V

G-UP ~ G-DOWN : 360V

5. You will see 3 connection cables between Drive Motor & inverter.

Please measure  electrical resistance value

(T2T2 + T1T1 , T1T1 + T3T3, T2T2 + T3T3, if it is normal , there will be resistance about 1Ω )
