Dear Sir - The patient Mr Anubhav Malhan, aged 21 yrs male, was admitted on 02/04/2020, with

complaints of fever and dry cough since 7 days. Chest X-Ray done shwed homogenous haziness seen in
left lung – plural effusion. USG guided diagnostic therapeutic pleural tap done on 03/04/2020. Patient
was evaluated and diagnosed as case of Pulmonary Koch’s. Patient was put on anti-tubercular drugson
07/04/2020. Chest X-Ray showed massive pleural effusion left. General Surgeon opinion was taken and
left ICD tube inserted on 07/04/2020. Patient is now gradually progressive well but will require further
hospital stay 07-10 more days for further management
