Growth Intern

Job description

3 Month Growth Intern with prospect for full-time engagement.

Having just secured a major pilot, we are looking for an entrepreneurial and driven intern to join our
growth team and help Concis find new growth opportunities.

What is Concis?

Concis is revolutionising the way business leaders find, discover and consume strategic and tactical
business content.

What is the role?

Your main role will be to support our growth team - the focus of which is to think up good ways of
getting sales leads. Concis is a B2B2C and B2C business, which means that our growth and marketing
efforts are directed at big accounts and individuals alike.

You will have the opportunity to grow with the company, expanding your skills and providing insight
into the fast-paced nature of a startup but also becoming fully immersed in our business and helping
us grow exponentially too.

Some examples of what you can expect from your role include:

Investing in search engine optimisation (SEO - i.e. getting to the top of loads of google searches)

Using growth hacking tools to automate the lead generation process

In practice, we envisage the growth intern spending their time across the following areas:

Think up growth and marketing tactics (20%)

Implement growth and marketing tactics (40%)

Conduct and present competitive analysis (10%)

Contact research (30%)

What are we looking for?

In your application we will expect you to show how you demonstrate the following:

 Technical background and interest in learning coding skills (no need to have coding
experience, but ideally you would be the person your friends turn to when in need of
someone ‘techy’)
 Driven and works independently
 Initiative and desire to learn new things
 Problem-solving and confident communication of ideas and opinions
 Can-do attitude and desire to challenge yourself
What will you get out of the internship?

By the end of this 3-month internship you can expect us to consider you for a permanent position.
Beyond that, you will come out with a range of skills that are in high demand in the startup industry.

Beyond the world of startups, this internship will provide more autonomy and responsibility than
you can expect from any corporate job. Therefore, if you are looking for a role where you are not
treated like a cog in the machine, this is the role for you.

We are still early stage and hence it is an unpaid opportunity. However, you will be paid based on
the conversions of leads you generate into sales based on a commission model.
