A trip to the Zoo

I was so happy when my parents and I 1_______________ the

Singapore Zoo last Sunday. I saw so many animals. Seeing them
live is different from watching them on television. The animals
like the polar bears and the orang-utans are big and strong. I
took a picture with an orang-utan. Her name is Kian Hong. I felt
afraid at first but my parents were with me, so I held Kian
Hong’s big hand and 2_______________ at the camera.

We took a 3_______________ ride around the zoo. I saw some

tigers resting under the trees and a hippopotamus
4_______________ itself in the water.

We watched the animal show. A trainer got a 5_______________

to perform tricks.
We left the zoo in the afternoon. I enjoyed my trip to the
Singapore Zoo very much.
