Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to express my interest in the two-month residency period in the MuseumsQuartier in
Vienna.

I will graduate in the summer of 2015 from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cluj-Napoca, painting
department, and I am focusing to expand my view and knowledge in the art field. My interest in
painting began in kindergarten and has only kept growing ever since. I have recently benefitted
from an Erasmus Placement Scholarship in Berlin, and this great occasion offered me a new
perspective toward the art itself and new ideas on producing it. I have always dreamed of
painting, and being constantly in contact with the art field that I am in love is even more
satisfying.

This residency period would offer me the opportunity to work on my current project, which
explores the human being, and MuseumsQuartier is the perfect environment to do this. A place
with inexhaustible resources, it would allow me to focus on my work, while also leaving time for
me to take part in interesting cultural activities.

Moreover, I am very interested in becoming involved in the community of MuseumsQuartier and

taking part in as many activities as possible. I believe one has much to learn from others and
their culture.
