AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The present study had been undertaken with the following aims and

objectives :--

 To study the effect of antioxidants (Vitamin C & E) supplements, on

all the parameters (serum lipid profile and blood glucose fasting &

Post Prandial ) of diabetes mellitus & hypertensive patients.

 To study the effect of OCIMUM SANCTUM (Tulsi) supplement, on

all the parameters (serum lipid profile and blood glucose fasting &

Post Prandial ), of diabetes mellitus & hypertensive patients.

 To study the Combined effect of antioxidants (Vitamin C & E) and

Tulsi supplements on all the parameters (serum lipid profile and

blood glucose fasting & Post Prandial) of diabetes and hypertensive

patients.

 To compare the effects of antioxidants (Vitamin C & E) and Tulsi

supplements among the three groups.

 To compare the post supplementation results of all three groups , with

the control group results.
