Dear, Ms.

Arum

My name is Michelle Paulina as a secretary at a Unilever Company, I would never intentionally hurt
the company or those around me who have shown nothing but support and encouragement since I first
began working here. I am deeply saddened, and even devastated, by the consequences of my actions. I
regret putting the company (or boss) in this awkward situation.

Please accept my sincere apology. I was distracted and my lack of attention to detail caused this
situation. There are investors who are interested in our company and want to invest capital which is
predicted to be very profitable for the our company. The investor asked me to meet with Ms. Arum to
discuss further in the future, then I set the schedule and he came according to the schedule that I set.
After he came and waited, I checked the schedule again and there I made a mistake, at that time Ms.
Arum was outside the country. After I told him, the investor felt disappointed and canceled the
cooperation plan with our company. I deeply regret this incident.

Next time I will be more careful and promise that this incident will not be repeated again and in the
future I will make this company a big company that has a big profit with many investors investing
their capital and will not disappoint investors. I hope for the acceptance of my apology. I am sorry
again.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Michelle Paulina
