F1, F2, and F0 Sprag Rotation and One-Way Clutch Operation

F1 One-Way Clutch
Installation of the F1 One-Way Clutch and Second Brake Hub assembly on the Sun Gear:
• Holding the sun gear inner sprag race, the outer race will freewheel clockwise and lock counter
clockwise.

F2 One-Way Clutch
Installation of the Planetary Gear into the F2 One-Way Clutch assembly:
• Install the Planetary gear into the F2 one-way clutch outer race (black side up).

Make sure the black

side is facing the rear
of the Transmission

• The inner race (planetary) will freewheel counterclockwise and lock clockwise.

F0 One-Way Clutch
Checking the operation of the F0 One-Way Clutch Assembly:

• Install the Overdrive direct clutch into the F0 one-way clutch.

• Hold the overdrive direct clutch and turn the intermediate shaft.
• The shaft freewheels clockwise and locks counterclockwise.
