Decision making is the most important part that people always do especially when it comes to critical
situations. It’s either it ends up successfully, or they face consequences. However, there are steps of
making a decision in group or community services. Of course, the first step is to identify the problem or
the situations first before addressing it. It’s important to analyze the situation happening somewhere or
some place in order to formulate an idea on how are we going to overcome it. Second, we can’t make
decisions if we don’t gather information from outside because that’s the main key to formulate ideas.
We also need to think of an alternative decision or what we call, Plan B. This is a back up plan just in case
the first decision didn’t work. But of course, as a group, it is not only one people who is going to think of
a decision, but everyone’s opinion or ideas in the group matters also in order to gain more ideas to
yourself. When the decision time comes, be sure about the alternatives that we think, cooperate with
each other. Work as one.

As we grow up, we need to think critically because life is unfair sometimes. We need to be smart at
making decisions. Decision making is always considered in everything that we do because this helps us
not to regret at what we always do. Of course, sometimes we do some regretful decisions so that’s why
there are now baby steps in how to formulate a right decision in every situation that we face. In every
decision that we make, it matters. Every decision will change everything including people who matters
the most to us. Decision making is the most dangerous part in every critical situation especially for those
people who think in advance. People fear the consequences that they will face after the decisions they
make. With this, they are scared to take action. Of course, being afraid is not what we tolerate here but
to be courageous because nothing will happen if we don’t try.

In life, there’s a conflict. There’s no life without a conflict. There are disagreements or
misunderstandings but there’s a solution of it. Conflict happens in social, political, financial, personal
matters. There’s a so-called negotiation in order to take away the conflict. In the negotiation, there are
objectives. The first one is to make a solution that all the parties will agree. Second, it must be worked
out and finish the job faster. Lastly, is that to learn and gain improvement instead of hurting each other.
These objectives are effective in resolving conflicts. The only thing that matters most that as much as
possible, there will be no war, a disagreement is just a disagreement where it can be resolved in a
proper way.

In every conflict, we learn something that can help us to be more productive every single day. We learn
baby steps here. Baby steps matters in every way. Conflict helps us to think more critically. Conflict
somehow has a relevance with the decision making. Well, if there’s a conflict, it means there are
mistakes. We always learn from our every mistake and we can apply these learnings to everything
especially in decision making. We learn from conflicts. Conflicts helps us to think twice in every decision
that we will make. Conflict will be our biggest contribution in our decision making and critical thinking
skills. And the most important of all, conflict helps us to be more mature and face the real world.
